7 Miles Today;  Getting my walk in early, leaving for Chicago around noon.  Forrest reached a milestone in his walking endeavor.  (see yesterday's blog)
I had a little of everything this morning.  Wind, a little rain, a short period of sunshine and a temperature of 41 degrees.  Not bad for January 1st.  Anyway, bad weather is coming across Lake Michigan as we speak.  My daughter Renae and Forrest are off to Chicago in her car until Wednesday before I'll board the Amtrak Train back to Lansing.. Renae has some projects lined up for her Pop. Forrest will be doing his daily walking on the shores of Lake Michigan for the next three days. Until then "Happy New Year Everyone"....God Bless Walk Forrest Walk
