Forrest's Virtual Journey of Route 66 began Feb 3, 2012. America's Historic Route 66 officially begins on Adams Street in Chicago IL and winds its way along 2,448 miles thru eight states to terminate at the bluffs in Santa Monica CA overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The highway was established in 1926 and was eventually replaced by the Interstate highway system..."Walk Forrest Walk"

Congrats Forrest, Another amazing milestone in an amazing journey. Along the way you have acquired, knowledge of our country and parts of the world, many new friends along your routes and fellow bloggers, good health, and I would suspect tremendous self confidence and a rather remarkable sense of accomplishment. Well done friend as we have come to expect from you Forrest. Not much doubt who the walking man is now and it ain't old Eddie Yost of the Tigers.
